An Ode to Odufa Kadiri
What drew us to Odufa is the way she uses fashion to shape attention. Texture, proportion, color, movement, and material can completely change how someone is read before they say anything, and her work approaches styling as something expressive, sensory, and deeply considered.
As a Nigerian-founded studio, Ode is especially proud to support a Nigerian creative shaping how fashion, identity, and visual expression are seen on a wider stage.
That feels especially relevant to Raison d’Être, where we are interested in how perception shifts with context. Clothing can create that shift immediately: an unexpected material, a stronger silhouette, a color someone would not normally choose, or a styling decision that changes how the whole look lands. The goal is not to make every guest dress the same way, but to create enough direction that people notice their own choices differently.

At Raison d’Être
Odufa is developing the fashion direction for Raison d’Être, shaping a visual language that can move from the City Loop into the evening dinner while still feeling connected. The direction explores texture, pattern, saturated color, material contrast, movement, and unexpected styling choices across both womenswear and menswear.
The styling guidance is designed to leave room for different personal aesthetics, from quieter dressers to more expressive ones, while encouraging each guest to introduce at least one element that feels slightly outside their usual instinct.
